Hazlitt Shows How to Rock a Classical Instrument
Hazlitt
Incredibly accomplished from a very young age, singer and violinist Hazlitt performed solos on television and stage, played in professional orchestras, fronted jazz ensembles and toured Europe twice with the band Tiger Force as co-writer and frontwoman by the age of 18. Her latest album, Requiem For Little Bird, was produced in Hollywood by David Norland, and tracks from it have already found their way onto American TV and Film. Hazlitt has worked with the London Bach Choir, (including performing for Prince Charles's private carol service in St James's Palace), Mediaeval Baebes and The Irrepressibles, and appeared on the soundtrack for Narnia: Prince Caspian. She has played The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal Festival Hall, and appeared in Bizarre Magazine, NME and a few tattoo magazine shoots too. Rocking a classical instrument the way many popular musicians would wield a guitar, Hazlitt is taking her violin virtuosity and using it to revolutionize the way we listen to classical music and pop music alike
