By day, ASCAP member Robert Linden is the Associate Director of Music at CBS Paramount Television in Los Angeles. But when the office shuts down and everyone goes home for dinner, Linden transforms into the creative force behind Zen Boogie, the self-described "boogie-blues jazz band" that he leads.

Zen Boogie's ode to the consummate cool guy, "Too Hip For The Room," received the Best Jazz/Big Band Song award at the Malibu Music Awards in a ceremony held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Malibu Country Mart. Linden and Zen Boogie performed "Too Hip For The Room" during the awards show and also performed several more of their songs later in the evening.
