2008 ASCAP Foundation Paul Cunningham Workshop Concludes with Performance



On August 5 the participants in the 2008 ASCAP Foundation Paul Cunningham Songwriters Workshop performed at Rockwood Music Hall. The Robert Allen award was also presented to Shwa Losben. This concluded an 8-session workshop held in July during which the nine writers wrote and recorded a new song based on critiques, advice, and education about songwriting and today's music business from speakers such as ASCAP board member and legend Jimmy Webb, Decca SVP A&R David Novik, and EMI VP of Creative Jake Ottmann.
