@ In the City of New York



ASCAP and Filter magazine presented a showcase at the inaugural In the City of New York festival on June 13th. The two-day event was curated by Tony Wilson, co-founder of Manchester-based In The City, and founder of Factory Records and the Manchester, UK club The Hacienda. The festival was run in conjunction with AEG Live as an ode to the traditions of the New Music Seminar, which ruled in the 80s and early 90s.

ASCAP and Filter's showcase was at The Annex and featured performances from The Shorebirds, Liam And Me, and Jealous Girlfriends.
