Dany Tomas

Dany Tomas, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, started his career in music at age 15, writing music for TV and radio commercials. By age 21, he wrote his first two #1 songs on the Argentinean charts, and other countries as well. The songs, "Alguien la vio Partir" and "Estamos Juntos," were recorded by top-selling Argentinian artist Diego Torres. Dany continues to make strides to this day, writing and producing for artists such as Cristian Castro, Martha Sanchez, Diego Torres, Rogelio Martinez, Lara Fabian, Natalia Oreiro, Araceli Arambula, Sandra Mihanovich, Celeste Carbayo, Claudio Basso, Pablo Tamagnini, and others. He has received many accolades along the way, including three Grammy nominations and one MTV Latin America award, as well as five nominations for the MTV Latin America award. He was also a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition in 2003 and earned a considerable number of Gold and Platinum album awards in Latin America, Europe and the U.S. Today Dany Tomas is penning music for Maximo Aguirre Music Publishing, writing for some of the top projects in Latin music, film and TV.
