Honoring Ornette

ASCAP celebrates Ornette Coleman's 2007 Pulitzer Prize in Music

Ornette Coleman, who won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize in Music for his recording, Sound Grammar, was honored for his achievement at a special reception at ASCAP's New York City headquarters. A number of musical dignitaries were on hand to help honor the great composer-saxophonist.
