Latin's Urban Revolution
 |
With an internal drive that continually moves his career forward and the wisdom to know where he is heading as an artist, Efrain Fines Nevarez, better known to the reggaetón world as Tito El Bambino, is determined to make sure that every person who hears his music will feel an urge to dance.
At a young age he showed musical inclination and at the age of 12 he recorded his first song, "D'Noise," for a compilation CD. He quickly became the voice of the famous duo Hector Y Tito, which triumphed across Latin America and the United States. The song, "Duele," which was a huge success, is sometimes credited by many as the song that turned them on to the whole reggaetón craze. In 2003 he won awards from Billboard and at the prestigious Tu Música Awards. Selected by the biggest TV network in Puerto Rico as the spokesperson for public service announcements, such as "Say No to Drugs," Violence and Guns, Tito has proven to be a positive example for the youth that follows the reggaeton movement. In 2006, Tito El Bambino has released Top Of The Line with the strong single, "Caile," a song currently heating up radio all across the country and charting on Billboard. This single has set the pace for his first solo effort, a 20-track record which deals with enchantment, love but also pain and the different things that we as humans go through. Some songs address Tito's real life experiences. With this approach to music, it is no wonder Tito can so easily communicate with his audience.
