ASCAP sponsored the 3rd annual Ray Benson Birthday Bash in Austin, Texas during SXSW 2006. The event featured performances by several of Austin's hometown heroes and other musical friends, including Charlie Sexton, Ian Moore, Jeff Healey, Dale Watson and others.
