El pasado 3 de Marzo del presente año 2006, Jorge F. Rodríguez del Dpto. Latino de ASCAP en Nueva York, asistió a la presentación de la banda PISTOLERA en el Mercury Lounge, 217 East Houston St. NY. Como bien define Sandra Velázquez, cantante, compositora, guitarrista de PISTOLERA y miembro de ASCAP, PISTOLERA se caracteriza por su Pop Latino que parte del folklor mexicano recreado en el Rock. El estilo con que María Elena toca el acordeón, la dulzura de los coros de su baterista Ani Cordero, a la vez que no descuida la relación del ritmo con el bajo, ejecutado por Inca B. Satz, hacen junto a la magia progresiva de Sandra una buena propuesta musical. Le deseamos éxitos a PISTOLERA.
On March 3 of the present year 2006, Jorge F. Rodriguez from ASCAP’s Latin Dept. in New York, attended the presentation of the band "PISTOLERA" in the Mercury Lounge, 217 East Houston St. NY. As well defines Sandra Velazquez, singer, composer, guitarist of PISTOLERA and ASCAP member, PISTOLERA is characterized by its Latin Pop stemming from Mexican folklore and Rock. The style in which Maria Elena plays the accordion, the sweetness of the choruses by drummer Ani Cordero, not skipping a beat with relation to bassist Inca B. Satz; all together add to the progressive magic executed by Sandra, and making Pistolera a great musical proposition.
