Lucero

After releasing three full-length albums on small labels, Lucero, a four-piece rock band from Memphis, TN, are taking things into their own hands and releasing their fourth album, Nobody's Darlings, on their own label – Liberty & Lament – in May 2006. The band worked with producer Jim Dickinson (The Replacements, Bob Dylan), who they met through his sons, Luther and Cody, in the North Mississippi AllStars, and achieved a raw country meets rock and roll sound – bringing everything back to their Southern roots. —JM
