Jon McLaughlin

American heartland singer-songwriter and pianist Jon McLaughlin, will release his debut album Indiana, due in early 2007 on Island Records. He's been building a strong grassroots following over the last two years, touring the country with likeminded acts like O.A.R. and Matt Wertz. He also performed at the 2006 Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago. Indiana pays tribute to McLaughlin's hometown of Anderson, IN, and features collaborations with the Matrix and Jamie Houston, who also produced the album. McLaughlin will also make his silver screen debut in Enchanted, a Disney animated-and-live comedy starring Patrick Dempsey, coming out in the summer of 2007. In the film, he will be singing a song written for the film's soundtrack by Ric Wake.
