Kobai

Popular Punks

Kobai's electro-punk catches on in the U.K.

Glasgow-based, six-piece buzz band Kobai are set to shake up the UK music scene with their infectious brand of wild and dirty electro-punk. The band has won acclaim from publications like NME, who describe them as “Nirvana on acid,” to esteemed deejays like XFM Scotland’s Jim Gellatly, who hails them as “glorious.” Their music is perfect for sweating it out at the club, especially the group’s debut single, “Serotonin,” on Empire Records. They just finished a successful UK tour and are getting tremendous radio support from stations like BBC1 Scotland, XFM and Music Choice London. Currently, the band is finishing up their debut full-length to be released in Spring 2007.
