The Great Statesmen break down barriers with high-octane rock
Hailing from the four corners of London, The Great Statesmen are the latest addition to the UK’s ever improving rock scene. Spurred on by the likes of Muse, The Strokes and We Are Scientists, The Great Statesmen have set out to bring their own style of punchy, edgy rock music to the masses. Formed in late 2005, The Great Statesmen are absolutely monstrous on stage. Their high-octane live act drawing sweat from even the most passive of spectators. “We’ve already had some great support. ASCAP have been backing us all the way, as have XM radio,” said lead singer Kris Tunmore. We couldn’t have asked for more.” “Just try and stop listening to these guys,” said XM Radio’s Billy Zero. After cutting their teeth on the London circuit, The Great Statesmen now regularly share the stage with signed acts and are currently on the hunt for the right label to release their debut single.
