Army Of Me

Vince Sheuerman, songwriter and singer for DC-based modern rock band, Army of Me, had received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and was heading into a life of science. But then rock and roll success intervened. Army of Me's smart, melodic rock proved too good not to pursue, and Sheuerman and company soon found themselves sharing stages with such breakout rock bands Hot Hot Heat, My Morning Jacket, Phantom Planet and Coldplay. Now the band, who performed on ASCAP's 2004 CMJ showcase, is garnering outstanding reviews: "Combine his mature guitar playing with a voice that can swoop and soar like Jeff Buckley.and Scheuerman has the goods to take it to that proverbial next level " (The Washington Post)
