The From the Top radio series initiated a Young Composers Project, which received a 2005 grant from The ASCAP Foundation John DeVries Fund. The goal of the Young Composers Project is to identify the nation's finest young composers and provide them with opportunities to appear on the From the Top weekly radio program, work with professional mentors, and train to be peer role models and advocates for music and composition.
