Centered around the Gospel Music Industry's best and brightest stars, the 2005 Stellar Awards were held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.
The Awards proved to be nothing short of spectacular for Verity Records artist Tonex as he garnered six Stellar Awards including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for "Make Me Over". Blackberry Records artist, The Williams Brothers, showed why they are "Still Here" bringing home three Stellars including Group/Duo of the Year.
The evening also featured some incredible performances by ASCAP members Tye Tribbett and G.A., the legendary Edwin Hawkins and The Williams Brothers.
ASCAP's Keith Johnson and Jay Sloan attended the Awards show, which was hosted by Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, and Tonex.
