Jam spoke passionately about his years in the music industry and graciously answered questions from the audience.
The event was presented by The Chicago Chapter of the Recording Academy, in partnership with ASCAP and McNally Smith College of Music.
Jimmy Jam has served on ASCAP's Board of Directors since 1996, and was recently elected Academy Vice Chairman of the Recording Academy.
