The celebration and tribute honoring retiring Founder & Chairman of BET, Robert L. Johnson, took place on Tuesday, October 25th, 2005 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Held on the evening prior to the BET 25th Anniversary Celebration, the intimate evening was hosted by Clarence Avant, Tom Freston, Debra Lee, Antonio "LA" Reid and Sylvia Rhone.
