J. Wells

At 21 years old, Jon Wells, aka J. Wells, has already established himself as a successful and creative producer and artist in the worlds of hip hop and R&B. By way of Chicago and Los Angeles, Wells became a protégé of J-Ro of Tha Alkaholiks, quickly learning the value of crafting melodies and creating compelling songs. He later produced one of the most sought after mixtapes in West Coast mixtape history, with his debut, J. Wells Presents: The Wolfpac Mixtape, featuring Kurupt, James DeBarge, El DeBarge, J Ro, Tash and Prodigal Sunn among others. Recently, Wells produced the new Goodie Mob single "Play Ya Flutes" featuring Sleepy Brown. He has also had tracks featured on The Sopranos, and Six Feet Under as well as in video games including EA Sports 2004 Tiger Woods Golf. Now, as an MC/producer, Wells is set to release his own album, entitled Digital Master, featuring artists such as Inspectah Deck, Kokane, Ray J, Method Man, Jayo Felony and Goodie Mob to name a few.
