In October, The World Soundtrack
Awards were presented during the 31st Flanders
International Film Festival in Ghent, Belgium.
Sir George Martin presented the Lifetime Achievement
Award to ASCAP President and Chairman Marilyn
Bergman and Alan Bergman. Gabriel Yared received
two prestigious awards: Soundtrack Composer
of the Year for Cold Mountain and Best
Original Soundtrack of the Year for Cold
Mountain.

The 2004 World Soundtrack Awards concert included
the participation of composers, songwriters and
music industry professionals from throughout the
