ASCAP Songwriter Mondays Entertain Manhattan's Upper West Side

In August, ASCAP teamed up with the New York's Upper West Side club, Makor, for a five-part performance series called ASCAP Songwriter Mondays featuring a variety of folk, roots and rock artists.

Andy Bey at the Congressional Black Caucus

Jazz legend Bey headlines concert in D.C.

Congressman John Conyers, Jr., Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Dean of the Congressional Black Caucus, joined ASCAP, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and the U.S. Army in hosting the 20th Jazz Forum and Concert during the recent Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. Jazz legend Andy Bey headlined the concert, which also featured performances by Ron Carter, James Moody and local DC jazz students known as the New Washingtonians.
