Anya's first release, Exercises In Racketeering EP, showcases tracks off her debut full-length Miss Halfway (voted Best Local Recording at the San Diego Music Awards). The title track from "Miss Halfway" can be heard on the Grammy-nominated Grey's Anatomy soundtrack, making Anya the only unsigned artist on the compilation at the time.

In addition to sharing the stage with Tegan & Sara, Jason Mraz, Greg Laswell, Rhett Miller (Old 97s), Mark Eitzel, Jill Sobule, and Jolie Holland, Anya rocks the proverbial mic middays on FM 94/9 (9a-2p, in San Diego, CA) and, in the words of Tom Waits, "does some acting."
