Adam Schlesinger is a songwriter, composer and record producer based in New York City. He is a member of two bands: the Grammy-nominated power pop quartet Fountains Of Wayne, whose new album Traffic And Weather has just been released on Virgin Records, and the more atmospheric trio Ivy. His music has appeared in numerous films, including That Thing You Do, for which he received "Best Original Song" Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, Music And Lyrics, Robots, There's Something About Mary, Me, Myself and Irene, Josie And The Pussycats, Art School Confidential, and many others. He also has written extensively for television and has produced records for They Might Be Giants, Motion City Soundtrack, America, Robert Plant, David Mead and others. Schlesinger co-owns indie label Scratchie Records and Stratosphere Sound, a recording studio in West Chelsea.

Mike Viola is a New York-based pop songwriter. He has fronted the band Candy Butchers since 1994; they released a string of highly-acclaimed LPs on RPM/Columbia Records and have just recently released a collection of early recordings called Making Up Time. Mike's most recent solo release, Just Before Dark, was recorded live at LA's Cafe Largo. He is also currently writing songs for the upcoming Judd Apatow film, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, a music bio-pic parody starring John C. Reilly and featuring many top comedic actors including Will Ferrell, Jack Black and others. He collaborated with Schlesinger on the film, That Thing You Do, for which he sang lead vocals on most of the key songs.

"Adam writes very nice songs, but he should call his parents once in a while." - Bobbi Schlesinger

"Viola has a winning way with heartbreaking melodies that don't turn maudlin... Power pop at its finest." - Entertainment Weekly
