In 1986, a trio of kids from Buffalo, NY burst out of their garage and onto the national music scene and has never looked back.
Since then, the Goo Goo Dolls have become one of the most globally respected and loved songwriting forces in popular music, selling over 10 millions albums in their 20-year history.
In that time, the band has enjoyed constant string of 12 Top Ten single breaking radio records for the "Most Hot AC Hits in Radio History. "Iris," alone spent nearly a solid year on the Billboard charts. "Name," "Slide," Black Balloon, "Broadway," " Here Is Gone," "Big machine," "Sympathy," Better Days," "Stay With You," all have spent lengthy times on the charts in multiple formats.
Between 1987 – 2006, the Goo Goo Dolls have received numerous awards Grammy Nominations, have released 9 studio albums and have appeared on The Late show With David Letterman 9 times. On June 8, 2007, the band will perform live on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno for the 16th time. The simple truth is, the Goo Goo Dolls remain one of the most acclaimed, enduring and trusted rock & roll bands of our generation.
