Downtown Sounds As the Tribeca Film Festival celebrates its 5th anniversary, the Tribeca/ASCAP Music Lounge joined in the festivities with day one of its 4-day showcase series. Performers included Nellie McKay, Lisa Hannigan, Josh Ritter, James "Blood" Ulmer and Rodney Crowell. The lounge, in its second year, offers a unique opportunity for filmmakers and music creators to meet and enjoy live performances and has become one of the highlights of the film festival.

Tribeca/ASCAP Music Lounge performer Josh Ritter and his band were the special guest performers at a Tribeca Film Fesival reception for more than 50 filmmakers with films in competition at this year's festival.
