Goes Out with a Bang

The final day of the 2006 Tribeca/Music Lounge presented an outstanding display of songwriting talent as well as final proof that the combined cultural forces of the Tribeca Film Festival and ASCAP, along with co-sponsor Saturn, provided the film festival with a unique and exciting musical component that was one of this year's most popular attractions for filmmakers and festival-goers. Performers for the grand finale included David Ford, Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint, Martin Luther, Kazi and the Hip Hop Project (who are featured in the film, Word.Life) and Brazilian Girls.
