The second day of the ASCAP/Filter party continued to dazzle audiences
with great rock bands from
around the world, culminating
with a searing performance
by Kaiser Chiefs. On the
last day of the festival, ASCAP
presented intimate and memorable
performances by six talented
singer/songwriters at its Acoustic
Afternoon showcase. ASCAP Executive
VP of Membership Todd Brabec
and his brother, VP of Business
Affairs at Chrysalis Music
Group Jeff Brabec, also presented
their panel, “Music and
Money: How Songwriters and
Music Publishers Make Money
in the 21st Century”
The Cribs, a last minute replacement for Phoenix, who had to cancel their gig,
delivered the goods.
