Filmmaker BBQ/Film Music Party

From 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. ASCAP will host its annual Filmmaker BBQ for the festival's filmmakers. From 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. there will be a Film Music Party, featuring performances by Jimmie Dale Gilmore and other guests TBD. Palm Pictures will co-sponsor this event to celebrate the premier of Be Here To Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt - a documentary about the legendary Texas songwriter and ASCAP member.
SXSW Golf Tournament
Wednesday, March 16
ASCAP will be testing its luck on the green during the SXSW Golf Tournament, sponsored by ASCAP and co-hosted by ASCAP's Ralph Murphy. The tournament will take place at the Riverside Golf Course at 12:00 p.m. Click here for more details.

ASCAP and Mediaguide will host a booth at the music
festival trade show at the Austin Convention Center. The
booth is open to registered festival goers who can stop
by and learn more about ASCAP and Mediaguide. We will be located at Booth 013 and 014.
ASCAP Hospitality Boat Rides

Join the ASCAP crew for their annual Hospitality Boat Rides, co-sponsored by AFTRA, IMRO and SOCAN, leaving from the Four Seasons Dock at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Filter Magazine's Son of Showdown

ASCAP is co-sponsoring Filter Magazine's Son of Showdown day parties at the Cedar Street Courtyard. The parties will feature the hottest up-and-coming bands from all over the world, including Kaiser Chiefs, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, Sound Team, Phoenix, Embrace, Long-View, Stars, JoyZipper, Rob Dickinson (Catherine Wheel), Tom McCrae, Jason Falkner and Trash Can Sinatras.
