Live Highlights from ASCAP's Music Café
Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova of the film Once
From January 19 through the 27, ASCAP presented nine days of extraordinary music at the Sundance Film Festival's Music Café in Park City, Utah. From singer-songwriter and 60's folk icon Donovan to startling new writer-performers such as Annie Stela, Joe Purdy, Silversun Pickups, as well as a special surprise performance from Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, the stars of one of the festival's buzz films, Once, ASCAP's Music Café once again delivered an unforgettable soundtrack to one of the world's most beloved and influential film festivals. Here's a sample of just some of the many great live musical performances from this year's Café.

Part One
A Fine Frenzy's Alison Sudol
Soundtrack to Sundance
ASCAP kicked off nine days of events at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival with the launch of its Music Café on Friday, January 19th. Filmmakers, actors, composers, songwriters and festival-goers packed the Star Bar on Main Street in Park City, Utah to enjoy the thrill of live performances of music from an incredible array of writers and artists.

Silversun Pickups
Café Culture
As ASCAP's Music Café headed into its fourth day, the word was out that the Star Bar was a great spot to take a break from the crowds marching up and down Main Street in Park City and enjoy an afternoon of incredible music from some of today's top and rising writer-performers.

Part Three
Donovan
Mellow Fellow
Legendary singer-songwriter Donovan performed two incredible sets of his music to packed houses as the ASCAP Music Café headed into its grand finale. The nine-day event was capped by performances by Dana Parish with Andrew Hollander, Annie Stela, Emerson Hart, Far*East Movement, James Morrison, Ron Sexsmith and Sparta.
