Musicians' musician Michael Brook divides his time between film composing, record production, world and ambient music explorations, and guitar work for other composers including Hans Zimmer. Recent film work includes the documentaries An Inconvenient Truth and Who Killed the Electric Car, and he is currently scoring a new Michael Apted project. Michael Brook is well known for his collaborations with artists such as Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Youssou N'Dour, Mary Margaret O'Hara, and Bryan Ferry. On his new solo album, RockPaperScissors, Michael has crafted a sound that Time Out dubbed "magic realism for the ears." Performing at Sundance for the first time, this sound innovator brings with him renowned alternative artist Lisa Germano; concert violinist Julie Rogers; and Peter Gabriel sideman, Richard Evans.
