What began as Greg Laswell's private catharsis culminated in his touching debut album, Through Toledo. Faced with the sudden dissolution of his marriage, the musician/producer found solace in his studio where, working alone and playing virtually every instrument himself, he transformed his emotions into a poignant and honest reflection of his heartbreak. Through Toledo is not a collection of sad songs but rather a journey through a myriad of thoughts and emotions that leaves the listener with as much an understanding of his love as of his loss.
