As the lead-singer and primary composer for the alternative band Tonic, award-winning songwriter/vocalist/guitarist Emerson Hart has been a familiar voice at radio since the late 90's. After three albums, two Grammy nominations and a string of radio hits with the band, the prolific songwriter with the enviable voice has officially begun his solo career. Hart has once again sets his sights on the top of the charts with the release of his debut solo effort, Cigarettes and Gasoline (EMI / Bluenote Label Group/Back Porch), slated for release May 22 2007.
