Chuck Prophet picked up his sister's guitar and cocked an ear toward the FM banquet of his youth. Breaking his sweet Mother's heart, he spent years playing with road-hardened cutthroats and ne'er-do-wells, lucky to emerge with his soul intact.
He has recorded seven solo albums, had songs covered by Kelly Willis, Solomon Burke and Heart; and worked as a session musician/guitarist with Lucinda Williams, Cake, Warren Zevon and others. Nationally, Chuck performed on Craig Kilborn, Austin City Limits and has numerous film and television credits.
