Following the conventions of singer-songwriter pioneers like Carole King and Billy Joel, Annie Stela creates soulful piano pop with the keen eye of an observer, the bruised heart of experience, and the ability to write a damn good chorus. A Michigan native, she relocated to Los Angeles after college where her talents landed her a residency at LA's famed Hotel Café and, soon after, she was quickly snatched up to begin recording her debut album, a testament to the power of her songwriting and stellar solo performances. Her debut album Fool is to be released 2007.
