"I've been waiting two years for this album," says Nic Harcourt, host of KCRW's highly
influential show "Morning Becomes Eclectic," of Alexi Murdoch's much anticipated debut, Time Without Consequence. The singer-songwriter's self-produced album, which is fast gathering critical praise - Billboard hails it as the "sleeper of the year" - comes as a follow-up to his breakthrough four-song EP that started out as a radio demo for Harcourt in 2003. The EP caught on big, landing songs in such high profile places as Garden State and The OC. Tapped recently by Rolling Stone as a top-ten artist to watch, Glasgow-based Murdoch is kicking off his U.S. tour right here in Park City at ASCAP's own Sundance Café.
