Her smoky voice and haunting melodies lead Music Biz magazine to coin the term "torch trip hop" when describing her music. She has worked as a vocalist and songwriter with the likes of Deep Forest and members of the acclaimed Scottish band, The Blue Nile. Her recent release includes the theme song from the film Crash, as well as songs heard on Nip/Tuck, Everwood and Never Get Outta The Boat. Doing double duty in film, Bird has recently gained popularity as Andy Wyatt on The West Wing.
