A Grammy-nominated songwriter and artist with five albums and over 50 songs recorded by artists including Faith Hill, The Dixie Chicks, Keb Mo and Guy Clark, with whom Darrell co-produced several albums. Darrell, ASCAP's 2002 Country Songwriter of the Year, and NSAI' s Songwriter Of The Year in 2001, is also a powerful multi-instrumentalist and a soulful singer. In recent years he has played on scores of sessions and performances including Tim O'Brien, The Nashville Chamber Orchestra and Steve Earle as part of The Bluegrass Dukes. Darrell resides in Nashville and spends his time with family, writing, cooking and touring.
