ASCAP Songwriter Residency @ America SCORES

Launched in 2006, the ASCAP Songwriter Residency @ America SCORES is a partnership between ASCAP, a membership association of songwriters, composers and music publishers, and America SCORES, a nationally acclaimed after-school program, that provides a platform for songwriters to easily connect and give back to their local communities by engaging and inspiring school students in under-resourced neighborhoods. Over the course of three afternoons, ASCAP songwriters - from rising stars to Grammy Award-winning artists - collaborate with America SCORES students to write and record an original song. The ASCAP Foundation, a public charity dedicated to supporting music education and talent development, funds the program.
