ASCAP is now pleased to offer New York Sessions, a one-day career boosting event for songwriters and composers, featuring a special keynote interview with Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Rob Thomas, at the Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, in Manhattan on March 10. If you are a music creator, New York Sessions will provide you with the opportunity to connect with ASCAP's top songwriters, composers and producers, and experience educational panels, inspiring speakers, informative technology demos and more – all to help you strengthen the skills, knowledge and craft you need to make it in today's music business. Sessions will cover Marketing, Digital Distribution, Airplay, Recording, Publishing and will end with an ASCAP super panel of top songwriters, composers and producers.

Online registration has closed, but you will be able to register onsite for the same price. Registration (and registration badge pick-up) will be available beginning at 8:30am on March 10th and will continue throughout the day.

03.02.09 - Don't Forget Price Jumps Soon

Don't forget that the price of New York Sessions increases on March 4th. Register by March 3rd to get the lowest price of $55 for ASCAP Members and $75 for Non-Members. You will be able to register after March 4th as well as onsite, but it will be $20 more.

02.25.09 - Registration Times

Registration will open for New York Sessions at 8:30am on March 10th. Please be sure to bring your ID in order to pick-up your registration/badge. Click here to view the schedule of events. People will be able to purchase a registration onsite as well.

02.24.09 - Top Names Added From All Genres

Top names have been added to the closing New York Sessions panel. The panel will feature R&B hitmakers Carvin & Ivan (Karma Productions), producer Sam Hollander, composer Nico Muhly, Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger and songwriter Kristal "Tytewriter" Oliver. More exciting developments to come as the event nears.

Don't forget that the price of New York Sessions increases on March 4th. Register by March 3rd to get the lowest price of $55 for ASCAP Members and $75 for Non-Members. From March 4th on, including onsite/walk-up registrations, the price is $20 more. Register Now to get the lowest price.
