Monica, Don Cannon, Ron Fair, Eric Bazilian, Ian Rogers
and 40 Others Added to EXPO
This week we have added over 85 new panelists, mentors and performers to the ASCAP EXPO programming covering all aspects of music from creators to Film/TV music supervisors. R&B recording artist Monica (“All Eyez On Me,” “Still Standing”) will join OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, composer Heitor Pereira, composer/lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda, and songwriters Brett James and Hillary Lindsey on this year’s “We Create Music” panel, which will be moderated by veteran A&R/Executive / Producer/Songwriter Ron Fair. Among the nearly 40 new names confirmed today are producer Don Cannon (Young Jeezy’s “Go Crazy,” 50 Cent’s “Man Down”) and songwriter Eric Bazilian (Joan Osborne’s “One of Us”). Added to our closing Writers Jam performance are Priscilla Renea (“California King Bed,” “Who Says”) and Lindy Robbins (Hot Chelle Rae’s “Tonight, Tonight,” Jason Derulo’s “It Girl”).
We have also added composers Steph Altman, Xandy Barry, Cato, Craig Marks and Daniel Heath; songwriters and performers Dapo Torimiro and Neal Casal; and producer Battleroy.
Music publishers joining the EXPO are Andrea Torchia, Jake Wisely, Katie Welle, Betsy Anthony, Marc Ferrari and Holly Greene. Record label additions include Maureen Kenny, Jesse Ervin, Michael Howe and Melissa Sabo.
Film/TV executives and Music Supervisors just added are Steve Celi, Janine Scalise, Jonathan Weiss, Adam Taylor, Gary Gross, Samuel Diaz, Rochelle Holguin, Brett Swain, Jennifer Pyken, Trygge Toven, Marcy Bulkeley, Amanda Krieg, Danny Exum, Jordan Silverberg and Jason Kramer.
Topspin’s CEO Ian Rogers will be making his first appearance at the conference as well as YouTube’s Anjali Malhotra and journalist Jeff Miller will moderate the touring panel.
Unfortunately, Ryan Leslie will no longer be appearing.
