New Features of the Interactive ASCAP EXPO Schedule.
It's time to start planning your panel schedule. The full schedule is now online along with detailed panel descriptions and panelists for each session. You'll get more out of the EXPO if you plan your panel schedule ahead. The schedule (2011expo.ascap.com) is optimized for mobile devices too.
The great new interactive features of the ASCAP EXPO schedule will make your planning a breeze. You can even start networking before you arrive! See the bottom of this post for details!
*The interactive online schedule is NOT required and does NOT reserve you a seat at any panel. Arrive early at a panel to get the best seating.
Online EXPO Panel Video Access
Planning your schedule and starting to realize that there are a lot of great panels at the same time? No need to worry about panels you may have to choose between, you won't have to miss a moment! This year, we will be making video from all* of the EXPO panels available to stream online within a few days of the conference. By purchasing Online EXPO Panel Video Access, you will get a passcode after the EXPO to view the panels at your leisure from any computer. The videos will be viewable until the end of 2011. If you didn't purchase this when registering for the EXPO, it will be available for purchase at the ASCAP EXPO Boutique on site!

Registration Hours and Important Information for EXPO Registrants
Registration badges will be available for pickup beginning on the evening of Wednesday, April 27th, 2010 from 6:00pm - 10:00pm and on Thursday, April 28th from 8:00am - 7:30pm. Registration will also be open during the day on April 29th from 8:00am - 6:30pm and April 30th from 8:30am - 5:00pm. The registration booth is located on the Mezzanine Level of the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. Please bring photo I.D. with you when checking in. Also, after you get your badge, you'll pick up your complimentary EXPO registration bag at The ASCAP Room (Trousdale Estates).
Getting Around the Renaissance Hollywood and the Hollywood & Highlands
As you look over the EXPO Schedule, you might be wondering where everything is. There is a downloadable map of the hotel here (PDF). The night events are at The Highlands, a venue located right in Hollywood & Highlands complex attached to the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
Guidelines for the Q&As During Panels
Questions are encouraged, but please remember to ask questions that the whole room will learn from. Try to limit stories about yourself - we love you, but there are better forums to share your personal experiences.

Pre-EXPO Networking Reception (Presented by Hard Rock Café)
Come meet your fellow EXPO attendees at this networking event the night before (Wednesday) the ASCAP EXPO begins at the Hard Rock Cafe located in Hollywood and Highlands at 6801 Hollywood Blvd. (right near the Renaissance Hotel). Your EXPO badge is required for admittance, so be sure to pick up your badge at the ASCAP Registration desk on the Mezzanine Level of the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel prior to the party! Complimentary appetizers for the first 250 people.

At this exciting showcase in the Highlands, eight EXPO attendees, whose tracks were pre-selected by iStandard, will have their music played before a panel of prominent music industry tastemakers, who will then provide valuable constructive criticism for the benefit of the participants and the audience.
ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO Attendee Showcase - Friday

The Attendee Showcase, held in Hollywood Ballroom 2, will feature independent songwriters who pre-submitted music and were chosen by our panel of experts. Whether you were chosen to perform or not, the Attendee Showcase is a perfect opportunity to network and make connections at the EXPO.
Renaissance Hotel Lobby Lounge
Every evening you can unwind and network with your fellow attendees and others just downstairs from all the EXPO action at the hotel's bar/lounge on the ground floor. There will be bands playing starting at 8:30pm, including a Pre-EXPO Networking Opportunity on Wednesday night!
