Barry Coburn moved to Nashville from 'Down Under' in 1984 after being major concert promoter as well as managing and producing Split Enz. Barry began his American career with the formation of Ten Ten Management, Inc. in early 1985. His first client was Lacy J. Dalton. In 1988, Coburn signed newcomer Alan Jackson, landed Jackson a record deal with Arista Nashville and Barry's involvement Jackson won countless major awards, had twelve #1 singles, and sold over nine million albums. Ten Ten Management's client roster also included Suzy Bogguss, BR549 and Diamond Rio. From 1999 through 2001, Barry served as President and CEO of Atlantic Records Nashville division. Barry works alongside his wife, Jewel Coburn, heading their publishing company, Ten Ten Music Group, Inc. Under their guidance, the company has enjoyed major success with such recordings as "Somebody Like You" - Keith Urban and most recently "I'll Wait For You" - Joe Nichols. Ten Ten Music Group worked with Keith Urban as a songwriter from 1991 through 2005. Ten Ten Music Group's current writer roster includes: Tim Finn, Odie Blackmon, Paul Brady and Bobby Huff among many others. Barry serves on the boards of ASCAP, the Country Music Association and Vanderbilt Diabetes Center.
