Darius Brooks

Songwriter, Gospel Singer - "Your Will," "My Mind's Made Up," "For the Good of Them," "Safe In His Arms"

After garnering Grammy, Stellar and Dove awards over his 25 years in the music industry, Darius Brooks founded JMG (Journey Music Group) in 1999. Located moments outside of downtown Chicago, the entertainment firm houses a state-of-the-art recording studio (DebDash), record label and a music production division. JMG boasts a client list including: Allstate, Diageo and Phizer. Darius Brooks, a man who has been one of Gospel's greatest driving; creative forces has an international reach that extends to Great Britain, Scandinavia, Italy, South Africa and Germany. He has worked with Aretha Franklin, jazz legend Ramsey Lewis, the late Rev. Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers, as well as, Shirley Caesar, Stevie Wonder, and Avant, to name but a few as either a songwriter, singer, accompanist, arranger or producer. Darius has thrived in almost every musical capacity imaginable and is also musical director for Reverend Jesse Jackson's Rainbow PUSH Coalition.
