Norman oversees the creation of original musical content for Telepictures' shows working closely with producers. Telepictures is a Television division of Warner Bros. He also works with other Time Warner divisions and outside clients who are now utilizing their music library and original compositions. Norman continues to acquire music to expand the depth and scope of our music library. Norman came to Telepictures with over 15 years of experience as a composer and music producer. Most recently, he composed the music to the award-winning documentary
The War Tapes. His other scoring assignments included
The New Americans for PBS and the Miramax documentary
Reel Paradise. As Owner and Creative Director of Music for AMI Music Group he has overseen the creation, sonic branding and execution of multiple award winning advertising campaigns. In television, he has had a long-standing relationship with Telepictures. He wrote the theme songs for
The Queen Latifah Show and
elimiDate, actively contributed to the show underscore packages for
Ellen DeGeneres,
Tyra Banks and
Extra. Norman has studied music at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Interlochen Arts Academy, Jazz and World Music at The University of Miami and film scoring at UCLA. He holds a Bachelors of Music degree.
