Founded the independent rock label Gotham Records in 1994 in New York City, after leaving the William Morris Agency. Over the past decade, the label, which is distributed by SONY-RED, has signed numerous bands to major labels, earning it the distinction of being a top developmental label. Patrick has signed such acts as Supafuzz, Liquid Gang, Love Huskies, The Booda Velvets, Flybanger, The Loose Nuts and most recently, Slant, The Day After, Red Horizon and Mike Rocket. Due to Gotham Records' success at placing their artists' material on hundreds of television shows and motion pictures, including
Road Rules,
The Fog and
American Pie (which earned Gotham its first Gold Record), the label recently relocated to Santa Monica, California. Patrick is also on the board of directors for the Music For Youth Foundation, which raises money for under-funded music education programs across the country, generally through concerts honoring such superstars as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Elton John.
