With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, Phil has owned a record label, managed nationally touring artists, worked as a producer, promoter and toured nationally as a professional drummer. In the early 1990s, he started Johnny Brock Management, a promotions and booking agency. Johnny Brock Management was a principle partner in the International Acoustic Underground Competition. In 1996 Phil founded Artist Development Associates Inc., offering mastering, CD manufacturing, design and promotion services to support touring independent artists. In 1997, Phil launched cdfreedom.com, in order to provide online retail and fulfillment of CDs and merchandise. Artist Development Associates and Nimbit merged in 2004. Phil is an honors graduate of Berklee College of Music. As a DIY pioneer and a member of the "scrapper" generation, Phil drives Nimbit's product path by creating solutions that center around creating real income through the artist to fan relationship.
