John Beasley

John Beasley has recorded and performed with the who's who of the music world in his over 30-year career. In addition to being a sideman for Miles Davis, Queen Latifah, Steely Dan, James Brown, Dianne Reeves, and Chaka Khan, to name just a few, Beasley is a recording artist with seven albums and also writes, arranges, and produces for other artists. Beasley recently played with Christian McBride Presents: Jazz with the LA Philarmonic. He also composes for TV, film, and commercial projects writing. Currently, Beasley juggles his work as Musical Director for a reality series Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll, arranger for American Idol, concert dates, and producing several artists.
