We get it: three days of inspiration, education and networking at the ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO can be overwhelming. Whether it’s your first time out or you’re a nine-year veteran, here are 37 tips to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

The songwriter-producer will lead a Master Session entitled Courage of His Konvictions: Master Session with Akon. Ray Parker, Jr. will join the evening performance with Desmond Child, Amy Grant and Richie Sambora.

We are thrilled with the full 2014 ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO schedule, which is now available online and includes panels, master sessions and performances covering just about every essential topic for a career in music.

The schedule includes speakers like Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Dr. Luke and Gustavo Santaolalla; Master Sessions with Jermaine Dupri, Amy Grant and Mike WiLL; and panels on craft, business, marketing, music placement & more.

The incomparable songwriting and production team behind iconic hits by Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Usher, Boyz II Men, Mary J. Blige, George Michael and dozens more will participate in a Keynote Panel entitled The Lost Art of A&R with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

ASCAP composer and Tonic co-founder Jeff Russo brings orchestral grace to the music of Fargo, a new TV series based on the Coen brothers film. Read about how he hurdled Fargo's creative challenges, then see him in person at the ASCAP EXPO. Fargo premieres April 15th on FX.

This year, your EXPO badge is your pass to the West Coast premiere of Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon, the directorial debut of Mike Myers.

During Bandzoogle's Thursday, April 24th sponsor session, a panel of experts will offer live critiques of EXPO attendees' websites. Our panelists will assess each site's design, organization, content and functionality.

Dr. Luke’s previously announced appearance will take the form of a Keynote Panel featuring a selection of his closest colleagues, entitled Dr. Luke and Prescription Songs. Check out all the new panelists and programming here!
