04.06.09 - Eco Limo Transportation and Reducing CO2 Emissions

To cut down CO2 emissions caused by driving, ASCAP has partnered with EcoLimo, the original ecological chauffeured transportation service using hybrid or bio-diesel powered vehicles, as well as Avalon. All staff and panelist travel, to and from the ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO will be provided for in EcoLimo hybrid or bio-diesel cars. 04.06.09 - Gibson/Auralex Acoustics Jam Rooms

Returning to the EXPO will be the Gibson/Auralex Acoustics Jam Rooms.  The two rooms will be a place for attendees to gather, network, jam and collaborate with each other using basses, keyboards, Gibson guitars and hand drums. The Gibson/Auralex Acoustics Jam Rooms will be open on Thursday and Friday evening from 7pm - 11pm.

04.01.09 - Attendee Showcase Submissions Open

ASCAP is pleased to offer another exciting opportunity to get your music heard at the EXPO - the Attendee Showcase (Presented by Indie Power, Pick the Band and West L.A. Music) on the evening of Friday, April 24th. All music genres will be considered. Indie Power will be fielding submissions in advance online and onsite at their booth. 03.23.09 - Jeff Lynne to Be Honored and Give Rare Interview

Jeff Lynne, songwriter, producer and leader of the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), co-founder of The Traveling Wilburys and producer of such artists as The Beatles, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty, will participate in a special "I Create Music" Interview at the EXPO. Prior to the interview, ASCAP will present Lynne with its prestigious Golden Note Award in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to music.

One-on-One Sessions

11.3.08 - One-on-One Sessions are Available

We are pleased to again offer the tremendously popular One-on-One Sessions that allow attendees to connect with the type of industry expert of your choosing for a 15-minute session. There are only 500 One-on-One Sessions available ($25 processing fee) on a first-come, first-served basis, and they do fill up.

11.3.08 - Song Feedback Panels Submissions are Open

At the EXPO, there are opportunities to get your music heard. These opportunities are open only to people already registered for the EXPO (more are added in the coming months). Song Feedback Panels submissions, powered by Broadjam, have already launched. This is a way for your songs to be heard and discussed by our top panelists during multiple panels across all genres at the EXPO. Register for the EXPO and start submitting your songs.

The 4th ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO registration is now open. The 3-day conference in LA in April will have a wide range of panels, performances, workshops, master classes, demos and exhibitors.
