ASCAP Presents… @ 2005 CMJ Music Marathon
London-based quartet Boy Kill Boy return to the fray with the release of their second single in September.
Following the well-received 'Suzie' earlier this year, released through Fierce Panda label the band have nestled down nicely within the comfy confines of the newly reactivated Fallout Records. Poised to consolidate on the media and label interest they've collected over the past few months, Boy Kill Boy prove they certainly have more where the imminently hummable 'Suzie' came from and 'Civil Sin' is a more than worthy follow-up.
Already loaded with healthy airplay - Zane Lowe and Jo Whiley amongst others, the track hints at the musical arsenal the band have in their midst and alongside an ongoing live schedule which has recently seen shows with Hard Fi, Kaiser Chiefs added to their armoury, Boy Kill Boy are honing their collective musical arrows and appear to be hitting all the right targets.
'Civil Sin' is released on September 19th and available on CD (CID907) b/w 'Killer' and 7" (IS907) b/w 'On and On'.
Meanwhile the band have an appointment at this year's Reading/Leeds Carling Festival when they play the Radio 1 stage and will also be playing as follows:
