Luis Resto for "his contributions as a pioneering keyboardist, songwriter and extraordinary creative force in contemporary music"
Doug Podell for "his outstanding contributions to the Detroit music scene"

Don Was (Grammy Award winning songwriter, artist and producer - Bonnie Raitt, The Rolling Stones), Luis Resto (Academy Award winning songwriter/Eminem co-writer, "8 Mile"), Wally Palmar (The Romantics), and David Was (Was Not Was) took part in a lively panel discussion about breaking into the music business, life in the studio and the state of the local music scene today.  The panel was moderated by WRIF's Doug Podell.
